In order to ride the bus, your child/teen MUST have a membership on file. The membership is easy to fill out and can be filled out online in less than 5 minutes. Any submissions received from non members will not be processed and those spots cannot be secured until we first have a membership on file, so please complete your member app first if you are not a member.

Detroit Transportation (1 Mile Radius)

Thank you for your interest in riding the bus! There is no charge to sign up for busing at our Detroit location, but spaces are limited so please register as soon as possible to secure your spot. The bus will depart the Club at 6:15pm and will bring the members directly to their homes for all members within a 1 mile radius of the Club. Detroit & Royal Oak Busing
MDYC offers easy-to-access transportation solutions for our Detroit and Royal Oak locations. Sign up on this page to secure your spot for this coming school year. We serve youth ages 6-18, and members can start on their 6th birthday.
Royal Oak School Pickups
Pickup from Royal Oak Middle School will be at 3:05PM. For our younger members, bus 1 pickup at Oakland Elementary will be at 3:30PM and from Keller Elementary pickup will be at 3:45PM. Bus 2 will pickup from Upton Elementary at 3:40PM and from Oak Ridge Elementary at 3:55PM.
Days We're Open
The transportation program is based off of the school district schedules. There will be NO transportation on half days, early release days, snow days, and days the Club has scheduled to be closed.
